TRIAGE TECHNICIAN

Position Summary: At Mallatt’s Pharmacy, our Triage Technician possesses a range of strengths from computer savvy to people skills. The ability to effectively listen and communicate is vital, as the job involves coordinating with the public, patients, and doctors. Our Triage Technician must be professional, polite and well organized. 

Pharmacy Technician- Retail

Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician performs day-to-day duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist Manager in accordance with established pharmacy principles, policies and procedures and/or law. 

Billing Specialist

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Billing, the Mallatt’s Billing Specialist is responsible for billing pharmacy claims to insurance companies, supporting Mallatt’s Retail, Long Term Care, and Homecare pharmacies on all billing related processes and providing excellent customer service and care to patients, caregivers and medical providers.

HOMECARE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Position Summary: The Homecare Pharmacy Technician performs day-to-day duties under the supervision of the Homecare Technician Supervisor in accordance with established pharmacy principles, policies, and procedures and/or law.

Homecare Pharmacist (Full-Time)

Position Summary: Accurately reviews and interprets medication orders; prepares accurate and complete patient profiles; reviews profiles for correct drug, dosage, and route of administration; ensures that no drug duplication or drug-drug interaction exists; ensures that patient is not allergic to any medication prescribed. Efficiently performs other professional pharmacy duties including the safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of all drugs.

Pharmacist (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Position Summary: Accurately reviews and interprets medication orders; prepares accurate and complete patient profiles; reviews profiles for correct drug, dosage, and route of administration; ensures that no drug duplication or drug-drug interaction exists; ensures that patient is not allergic to any medication prescribed. Efficiently performs other professional pharmacy duties including the safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of all drugs. Position may also require medication therapy management training and implementation as well as quarterly psychotropic and annual medication reviews for our facilities, as required.

Medical Records Assistant

Position Summary: Assist the Medical Records Specialist with organizing and managing health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper and electronic systems.

Pharmacist (Full-Time, 2nd Shift)

Position Summary: Accurately reviews and interprets medication orders; prepares accurate and complete patient profiles; reviews profiles for correct drug, dosage, and route of administration; ensures that no drug duplication or drug-drug interaction exists; ensures that patient is not allergic to any medication prescribed. Efficiently performs other professional pharmacy duties including the safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of all drugs.

Billing Specialist II

Position Summary: 

To assist the Billing Supervisor with managing accounts receivables and other important Billing Department tasks.

Prescription Management Technician

Position Summary: The prescription Management Technician will initiate refill authorization requests on non-controlled orders and manage incoming responses. This includes, but not limited to: auditing outgoing requests against incoming authorizations; following up on non-responses; problem-solving discrepancies; entering authorizations and assists in expediting prescription processing by performing in accordance with established pharmacy principles, policies and procedures and/or law.
